Quick update on why we've not posted anything more on Michael Jackson. Through looking around online and reading everything that's out there right now, we realize there are a million stories on him that we could be discussing here... the 911 recording, the information about his personal doctor, what's going to possibly happen to his childre, etc.

However, it is our belief that most of these things need to be left alone at this point. There are no definitive answers out there at this time and we feel that at a time like this, a family and friends need to be left alone to grieve and deal with things in their own way.

Michael Jackson was and always will be one of my personal favorites. He was a fantastic singer and he will be greatly missed and it is unfortunate that he has passed on so young. This is all we are going to say regarding his death. We do not feel it necessary to discuss all the legal battles and whatnot that are currently going on. We are leaving everything alone until the dust settles and there are actually real answers to all the questions that are flying around.

Is the Perez Hilton crew losing their reporting awesomeness?

This went up on PerezHilton.com:

Mariah had wrote on her Twitter yesterday that she has just finished a new commercial for Macy's. What she doesn't say is how she was several HOURS late to the shoot, infuriating other big name Celebrities like Donald Trump and Jessica Simpson, who were also involved."

Well, Martha Stewart just took to her Twitter with the following:

"by the way mariah did not keep us waiting as reported by perez hilton the shoo is on schedule thanks to sonnenfeld's complete command"

Hmmm... we try here to check and double check our junk before just shoving up as much as we possibly can every 24 hour period. Hence the occasional lapse in posts. There's no reason to just throw shit up because you heard it through the grape vine... careful, careful... it may be gossip, but it should still be as close to the truth as you can get. 

 

 

so, we've noticed a tiny bump in traffic here in the past few hours (hopefully not my imagination), and because people are taking the time to check us out, we wanted to let you know that we are NOT FINISHED making this the most awesomely incredible, most hilarious, most fun site EVER!!!

So please, if you checked us out today, do it again tomorrow... and the next day. Or in a week or something. Let us get totally situated before you ditch for someone bigger. So, obviously we just started. We don't have a fan base (aside from our wonderful selves) like Pink and Purple have (I love Pink and Purple... big fan here). We have missed a lot, more than we will probably ever have time to address. But I think I need to go through a few little things and my quick opinions of them, just because.

- Obama. On the 20th we can all watch him go from President-Elect to full on President... and we can all watch George W. stumble through some lame speech and (AT LAST) ride off into the sunset and hopefully disappear back to Texas, never to be seen again. He's been bumbling around here for way too long and I, for one, am over it. Obama is coming into a world of crap with the Presidency, but I am keeping my fingers crossed and that he manages to repair some of the damage George W. left behind. 

- Scientology is everywhere and I think it's a bunch of junk. Enough said.

- Rehab. More and more celebrities are going into rehab every 5 minutes and everyone appears to be saying "omg, again?! why didn't it work the first time?!" Hmmm... does it ever work the first time? NO. Getting clean and sober almost never happens the first time someone goes to detox or rehab. For many it takes an absolutely life-altering, scary as hell, no way out experience to give someone the true determination to get clean and sober. And losing a few hundred grand when you've got millions is simply not a big enough deal. Unfortunately, people with money often don't find themselves clean and sober until they're dead. Sad but true. So any new rehab stories on here, no matte how many times the person has been before, will always say "stay strong" - there's just no better approach than getting behind someone who is at least bothering to try.

- Law Suits. Really people, could there be any more of them floating around. Somebody sues somebody else for almost anything these days and it's getting a little ridiculous. I am not an expert on law and don't intend to fully school myself on all the laws, ever. But I think suing someone for dumb things is a waste of time, though often it is amusing. So if there's a good reason, sue away, if the reason is lacking in intelligence and I somehow hear about it, I will make fun. Just fyi.
