Oh, my heart is just thumping so fast at the thought of sitting in the audience at Sleepless in Seattle, THE MUSICAL! I just can't imagine how fantastic this is going to be! How truly exciting!

Not really a fan of musicals. Not going to see this one. Nobody can top the performances of Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks in the 1993 movie. Just not possible.

Producers are shooting for a first reading in May 2009, and hoping for the official opening of the musical to be in early 2010.

Anyway, excitement for those of you interested in musicals - yay! Will you see this one?

Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark is coming to Broadway. The show is set to open February 18th, 2010 at the Hilton Theatre.

The Broadway show will have pieces of Spider-Man's origins and some new material. The musical will feature a score by Bono and The Edge. 

Sorry, this doesn't sound all that great to me. Spidey needs to be slinging webs and building hopping. Not standing on a stage waiting for curtain to drop. I just don't see how enough action can be smashed into a Broadway show to do Spider-Man justice. 

Preview performances will begin January 16th, 2010, so look for reviews then. 

Last night (Friday) Katie Holmes signed autographs for the All My Sons crowd and they went freaking nuts! Sorry, can't say Katie makes me go wild and feel all fuzzy inside... I'm still stuck on her inability to display any emotion other than what appeared to be complete dismay back in the Dawson's Creek days. She never made her face do anything other than that oh-no-now-I'm-worried-but-am-still-half-smiling-because-I-can't-really-act look. That used to always make me so mad. Not that I'm saying I was a huge creek fan (wasn't, that other main dude couldn't act either), I'm just saying she's never really struck me as a great actress, but for everyone who loves her enough to be waiting outside for an autograph, glad y'all got one!
