So, I just heard about yet another social network... you know, like Facebook or MySpace. This one, however, is different.

The site is called affluence.org. And unlike the other networking sites, you can't just go sign up... you have to qualify. Listed on their front page are what you have to have to qualify:

Membership to Affluence.org is completely free but requires a demonstrable minimum household net worth of $3 million US; or a minimum annual household income of $300,000; or successful invitation of 5 other people that qualify for membership.

Ah, a social networking site for the rich people who have assistants to do their socializing for them... so what do they need this for then, eh? Hmmm... guess I won't be on there any time soon!
