VH1 is ordering about 10 new episodes of Behind the Music, a show that's been gone for a few years now.

Jeff Olde, VH1 executive VP original programing said "It felt like the time is right. There's all sorts of new artists on the scene who have emerged and have these great stories. And there's other artists that we always wanted to do the first time around."

So far, Lil Wayne and Scott Weiland have signed on to participate in the revival of the series. Lil Wayne? Ugh. I won't be watching that episode, that's for sure.

Apparently, VH1 is going to have a slightly updated format for its new Behind the Music episodes, but they won't be changing much, Olde said "I'm leery about changing certain elements. I think the audience will be mad if we mess with it too much."

I agree. Wonder what other artists they'll get to sign on for this.
