According to THIS, some teenagers (14 & 15) in Greensburg, Philadelphia are facing child pornography charges... for taking nude pictures of THEMSELVES and sending them to classmates.

Everyone involved in charging teens in this case is an idiot. Seriously. A defense attorney, Patrick Artur (Philly) said “It’s clearly overkill … The letter of the law seems to have been violated, but this is not the type of defendant that the legislature envisioned." Thank you for stating the obvious. 

The Police Captain, George Seranko, said "It's very dangerous. Once it's on a cell phone, that cell phone can be put on the Internet where everyone in the world can get access to that juvenile picture. You don't realize what you are doing until it's already done."

Gotta say... good point Captain, but isn't knowing those pictures have probably been all over their high school by now enough punishment? Really. They're already pinned as sluts (and stupid). Do you really need to pin them as criminals too?

This is just plain stupid. And it's annoying that this is what the courts want to waste their time doing.
