And... back to my obsession with the peanuts!

The recall due to the salmonella outbreak now includes 31 MILLION POUNDS of peanut butter and peanut paste! Hot damn that's a lot of contanimated peanut products!

Did anyone else not know that there's a National Peanut Board?! I have never heard of this! I would like to be a member. Anyway, according to the Peanut Board, Americans eat 700 million pounds of peanutty stuff every year. Hmmm... that's a lot.

But, there is GOOD NEWS in all of this! GIRL SCOUT COOKIES DON'T USE PRODUCTS FROM PEANUT CORP! YAY! So everyone can feel free to continue eating their yummy Girl Scout cookies! 

Anyway, watch for more news... hopefully all the recalls are over and done with and we will all be able to get back to eating our delicious peanut products (all of them) very soon.
