So, as you've seen, this weekend in movies went to Marley & Me. But what about next weekend? Can we expect things to get any better? (no spoilers... nothing you can't find in the preview)
THE UNBORN - we get to see what it's like when you're not dead, not alive, but not a zombie either (LMAO). From writer/director David Goyer (Batman Begins, Blade:Trinity) comes what is apparently supposed to be a bit of thriller/horror, but with the PG-13 rating, not sure it'll make the grade. After watching the preview, it appears to be another movie with another creepy little kid in it who terrorizes his sister because she made it and he didn't. Creepy little children in movies freak me out. Therefore, I am dubbing this movie a RENTER because I can curl up with my man under a big blanket and hide when the music gets scary.
BRIDE WARS - Oh look! Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway, together in the kind of movie they both do all the time. Amazing. Rated PG. I will probably never see this movie. The last movie I saw that was supposed to be a cute wedding movie was that 27 Dresses one. And I can't even truthfully say I saw it... I got through about 20 minutes of it (if that) before I had to turn it off out of sheer boredom. What a terrible movie! I hope this one is better - Hathaway and Hudson are both way better than Heigl.
NOT EASILY BROKEN - A husband falls for someone else after his wife in hurt in a car crash. PG-13. Sounds boring. Again, probably won't see it.
Well... I went in search of new movies coming out and came up with a bunch of crap. Bummer and sorry. Maybe Marley & Me will be #1 for a third week in a row.
